iOS/Mobile Safari Rendering of Aniuk by Typejockeys

I have a Fontdeck trial on my type/design site at opinionatedtype.com.

Everything works great except for Aniuk's rendering on iPads (2 & 3) and iPhones version 4+), specifically the T, I, N, and X from what I can see. There may be more but I haven't finished checking.

Do you know about this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Is this specific to iOS/Mobile Safari?

I used the WordPress plugin to activate my testing, I am on Dreamhost, and I use CyberDuck FTP. My theme is called High Art (http://fthrwght.com/highart) and I'm going to make a few changes to the template.

Thanks for your help!

Here's an iPhone image example I was talking about:

We'll investigate this for you. It looks like it may be a bug in the Retina text rendering engine. We'll pass on the report to our foundry partners to see what they can do.

Hi Joshua

We've worked with the foundry to improve the rendering of this font on iOS devices. Please try refreshing your browser and you should see the improved version.

Thanks

Josh and Richard,

Thanks for looking into this. I've been in contact with Michi over the past 2 weeks, so I emailed him about it as well. I figured all of you would be on top of it.

I tried refreshing the browser, but it had no effect. I asked a friend to look on their iOS devices, and it still looks the same.

So I went to 2 separate stores today and hopped on an iPad in each store and it still looked the same. I did this so I would be sure I was getting the newest version and so that I could also be sure I was getting an uncached view. They were both the new iPads (Retina display).

Attached is a screenshot.

Hi Josh

Sorry you are still seeing this issue. It could be that one or more of our CDN nodes did not receive the updated font files. I've pushed this updated font out again in case this was the issue.

In 15-20 minutes, please take another look at the font's and let me know if the issue is resolved for you.

Thanks
