I’m confused

A little confused about Auto Pick Up...

I have someone interested in downloading one of my photos for commercial use. But I'm not sure how to make it so he can download the high-res version. I added the photo on to Behance and clicked "Auto-Pickup Check" and it said it found the photo on Behance but I still can't use a High-res image for downloads.

Behance photo: http://www.behance.net/forsale/

Directions I used: http://support.fotomoto.com/customer/...

The directions haven't really helped me at all and I am super confused. I don't want this guy to wait too long.

Are their any sites we can use for auto-pickup that are free besides Behance?

Okay so I found the High Resolution option but I am still worried because the High-Res version isn't available in my fotomoto store even though the image is on Behance. When I click "See more viewing options" I can only highlight "Original Image" and "Original page" I still can not click on "High-res".

    Hi Jodi,

Thanks for the question and sorry for any confusion. Auto Pickup works automatically with Behance, but you can also upload high-resolution images manually to us.

Longer story short what I would suggest is that you just go to http://my.fotomoto.com/cloud_storage_... (Fotomoto Dashboard > Settings > Auto Pickup)
and make sure the "Send email notice and require image file confirmation before fulfilling orders." option is enabled under the High resolution file confirmation heading.

This way you'll be required to confirm the file before we send it to print, and you can click to view the high-resolution file once it is available in the order detail page.

I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek

  • Hi Derek,

Sorry I am new to this and I get confused easily! Haha. So if someone orders a print then I will be allowed to upload a High-res to fotomoto? Can I upload High-res to fotomoto without an order being placed first?

    Thanks for your help,

    Jodi

    • One more question: Say I had an order on a photo and I uploaded the High-res to you guys, then 2 weeks later I get an order for the SAME photo. Do I have to upload the file again?

We do keep the original around for a short period of time in case reprints are requested, etc., but in general you should not count on us having it. So, the answer to your question is yes - you should expect to need to upload it again.

      Kind regards,
      Derek
