Changes to toolbar CSS creates black border around toolbar

Hi Fotomoto,

I am using Wordpress with Nevo2 theme which uses prettyPhoto.

This is the Fotomoto CSS code I'm using to place the toolbar where I want it to be:

.FotomotoToolbarClass{
text-align:center !important;
margin-top: 30px !important; /* move 30 pixels down */
background-color:#ffffff !important;
width: 350px !important; /* make it 350 pixels end to end */
}

But because the code shifts the toolbar a black border shows up around the toolbar, as seen in screenshot below:

I'm pulling my hair out... I can not figure out how to change the black color around the toolbar to white. Any assistance is greatly, muchly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cesar

  • Hi Cesar,

    Thanks for the post. I can see that you were able to change the background of the Fotomoto Toolbar, but it looks like there is another background color declaration that needs to be made for some other TBD element. I can't really tell what element that is from a screenshot, so if you want to post or email us the URL for a page where we can see the issue, I'll be glad to take a look at it.

    Just as a disclaimer, we don't provide CSS support for individual sites, but if you send/post the link I'll see what I can do to help you.

    Kind regards,
    Derek

  • Hi Cesar,

    Thanks for the URL so I could see the page. It was the (black) background color from the body declaration that was showing behind the FotomotoToolbar, mostly because you had limited the width of and increased the space above the FotomotoToolbar DIV.

    I made some changes to the Custom CSS you added in your Dashboard, commenting out some of your code that was causing the issue, and I think the Buy Buttons look much better on your site now.

    Again we can't provide much in the way of CSS customization support, but I am guessing you'll be able to fix things as desired from where they are now.

    I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek
