CSS for Buy Button ignored with PrettyPhoto

When using PrettyPhoto as a lightbox alternative (with Wordpress, though this should be irrelevant), some of the CSS for the Buy button is overridden by a script loaded from fotomoto. This result in an ugly looking website element.

This script (http://static.fotomoto.com/assets/ext...) hardcodes e.g. background colour of the FotomotoToolbarClass to white in the style parameter of the element, meaning any other CSS is ignored. Please remove this hardcoded background colour as PrettyPhoto supports multiple colour themes (I for example use a black one).

    Hi JD,

The Fotomoto toolbar presentation is controlled by CSS and can be customized as explained in Customizing the Buy Buttons. I think you're probably aware of this as I can see some custom CSS in your Dashboard already.

It looks like you're trying to change the background-color of .FotomotoToolbarClass, which is the correct approach, but when I looked there were at least two issues happening in this case:

    1. You're spelling the CSS declaration 'background-colour' instead of 'background-color'
    2. There appears to be an issue with the CSS on your site, as you have an unclosed bracket in your declaration for .FotomotoFloatedToolbar

I also saw things changing on your site when I looked a few times, so I assume you're doing active development on your live server, so I'll leave the above fixes to you rather than trying to do them for you.

I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek

  • Hi Derek,
I should have checked this first, I completely forgot about the CSS settings in Fotomoto. Sorry and thanks for the great support.

    Regards,
