Current version of iWeb not picking up images

I'm using iWeb '11 I checked to make sure I was using the right version and it is up to date with what Apple is saying is the current version, but all fotomoto is picking up is the background image. I was wondering what I'm doing wrong.

    Hi Charlie,

I took a look at your site (www.charliekphotography.com) and didn't see the Fotomoto Script in your source code. Firstly, did you install Fotomoto using the directions here? Please double-check that you've got an HTML Snippet with the script inside of it, and if it's there, please reply with the URL for the page in question.

    Thanks,
    Derek

  • sorry i just put the code back in on the artwork page in the portfolio. It wasn't working properly so I took it out. should be there now though. Thanks for the help.

ok now the code is picking up the images and putting them in the dashboard, but when I go to click on the image to see the purchasing options the only one that is showing up is the background.

    Hi Charlie,

OK, so I looked at your page and am now seeing our buy buttons at the very bottom of your page. When I click the buy link, all of your photos do show up in the cart. Unfortunately this is how Fotomoto works with iWeb (see the note in the install instructions about the buy links appearing in a single bar). I realize this is less-than-ideal, but because of the way iWeb generates their code, our script can't detect individual images as it normally does, so the best we can currently do with iWeb sites is to add a single set of buy links and users need to select individual images from our order window.

It is possible to use custom CSS to position the buy links higher in the page, but that's about all we can do to make the appearance better.

Sorry I don't have better news, but the choices are either to live with the single toolbar or switch to something other than iWeb.

    Kind regards,
    Derek
