I can't offer prints of any size no matter what I choose for cropping

Auto pickup is setup and apparently works. Images on my server are in the 7 to 12 MB range.. I've tried all 3 different choices for cropping but no print sizes appear as selectable. This can't be that hard, what's the trick?

  • Well, after investing an entire afternoon working on this, I've got a workaround. My default collection was the "for sale" collection. Could not offer prints of any kind from it. As a test I created an empty collection with a different name. With no images in it I could create the print offerings under all the different types. I then moved many hundreds of images from the for sale collection to the new collection, 30 at a time (shouldn't selecting "all images" really select all images). Tedious as this was it got the job done and I'm now able to offer print selections on my website. But the "for sale" collection in the store is poorly named. I submit it should really be called the "busted" collection because it doesn't work. I also think this much head-scratching and swearing should not have been necessary, this bug needs to be squashed.

    Hi Mark,

Sorry to hear about this taking a long time figure out. After reading your update I think there might still be some confusion on how Fotomoto works and what Auto Pickup is about.

Let me suggest you read these three articles in our Support Center first:

How Fotomoto works on your site

Selected print sizes not showing in the Cart?

Using Auto Pickup to find your print files automatically

and if you still have trouble, please email us with the Store ID from the Settings page of your Dashboard, and any specifics about which sizes aren't showing up in the Widget so we can take a look to see what the exact issue is.

    Thanks and kind regards,
    Derek
