Image Size Options

I have Panoramas I am selling. I would like to reference the length as the more important dimension such that options are for example 24", 36" 48". In the current set up the height or width is the dimension. This leads to unusual lengths being offered.

Thoughts anyone?

    Hi Stuart,

Thanks for your post. I'm not completely sure I'm following you here, but I think our Print Size Options article might help explain how Fotomoto makes print sizes available to the customer based on your settings.

If that doesn't help answer your question, could you post or email us a specific example of what you're seeing that is unusual? The exact steps I should follow to see the issue would be helpful, like "Go to X URL, click X, and see that X looks like X?".

I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek

  • Is it possible to speak to a human? I would like to feature lengths of print rather than height. The way I have set the sizes available, fotomoto uses the height to determine the corresponding length. I would like to choose the lengths available and then Fotomoto determine the height. See attached screengrabs.
Would love to have a contact number.

    Hi Stuart,

We don't typically provide phone support as part of our service, so i can't offer you a contact number, but I'm happy to help you get this set up.

Fotomoto isn't designed to allow you to select widths and then automatically adjust the print size heights to match, so to get exact widths you have two options:

    1. You can continue to use the Flexible Sizes option and crop/size the images to exactly match the aspect ratio before you post them on your website. For example, if you cropped the image you show in the post above to be exactly 6:1 in this case, the customer would see sizes like 10"x60" and 16"x96" in the cart.

    2. You can use the Crop to all Selected Sizes option, which will force all the selected print sizes appear in the shopping cart, but the user will be required to crop the image in the shopping cart if the aspect ratio of the images doesn't match the print size.

I hope that helps and if I can assist further please feel free to email us.

    Kind regards,
    Derek
