Links embed ok but aren't clickable

I guess there is a conflict with my theme and would like to know if anyone has resolved a similar issue.

The options to Buy Print | Buy Card | Download all show up fine beneath my images, but you can't click on any of them :(

Anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for your post. We've engineered Fotomoto to be as compatible as possible with many themes, but given the customizable nature of web pages and CSS, it's hard to make Buy Buttons work as expected all of the time.

    Sometimes a little custom CSS will do the trick, and we've posted a general how-to at Customizing the Buy Buttons, so you might want to take a look at that.

    Otherwise, from what you're describing, it sounds like another element on the page might have a higher CSS z-index value, essentially putting another layer on top of the Buy Buttons, but I just can't tell without looking at your page. Could you post a link to an affected gallery so I can confirm?

    I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek

  • Thanks for the reply Derek.

    If that is the issue, is it easy to edit the z-index of the fotomoto plugin to move that back on top?

    I've since tweaked a few things and moved my images under a different part of the site not listed in the "Pages" option of the fotomoto plugin...so I can't send a link right now...but let me revert it back and get back to you with a link. In the meantime if you are able to answer that other question I can try to implement that first when i'm done.

    Kind regards,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    Yes - it's pretty easy to edit the z-index value (assuming that's the issue). It'd be something like adding the part in bold to your custom CSS:

    .FotomotoToolbarClass{
    text-align:left !important;
    z-index: 10000;
    }

    I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek
