Hello...
when I am trying to type a message in the FM window for an ecard/greeting card for any image on my site, I do not get a space bar input - meaning I havetowritelikethis.
Strangely enough, this does not happen on any other users' site with fotomoto that I tried out....
I use Slimbox on my page.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Markus

Hi Markus,
I took a look at your site and can see the issue. Could you try and temporarily disable the other JavaScripts you're using on the page and see if that helps? If so, you can re-enable them one-by-one and test after each to see if you can isolate which might be causing the issue.
Please post the results back here or feel free to send them via email to support.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hi Derek,
to properly disable the JS included, should I remove the links to the include files.js or just take the code out calling functions?

Hi Markus,
First, FYI, I've checked that the Bravo theme works fine in a test image gallery. Separately, Shadowbox works well also, so I'd suspect one of the other features you've added to be the culprit.
Personally I would use a developer's tool in a web browser to disable individual scripts, but since it looks like you're using RapidWeaver, so it well may be easier to just create a test page where you start with only a photo gallery, then test the eCard form after you add each of the other features you have on the page where you're having issues.
Up to you what works best for you.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hi Derek, I just worked on a problem of which I opened a thread a few months ago.... worked on the issue. Can you please follow up when you have a minute?

Hi Derek,
it took me a while before I looked into this.
I created two test pages: Page 1 contains all JS I use throughout my page, a photo and a link to a photo, opening the same in ShadowBox. The typing in the FM box is working fine when called from the FM menu underneath the photo. But I can not put spaces in when the image is opened in Shadowbox and the FM menu is called out of shadowbox. see here:

(There is an overall spacing issue caused by the Twitter/Flickr divs - but that is a different issue - the "ecard" button for the photo on the page is found on the bottom of the page).
Page 2 is the same as Page 1 but with all JS removed. Result: FM works fine when called from ecard button on page, but does not worked when called out of Shadowbox.

Do you have any ideas here?
Thanks for your help!

The issue has been resolved. It was a matter of using Shadowbox V3.03 vs V3.0, which was installed on my page.
Thank you!!

Hi Derek
I have the same issue- I'm using redrex base galleies. I'm not sure how I could switch off other scripts as I'm not a guru in these things and I'm enabling your script directly from the gallery template in lr4.
This is an example.

Additionally - the script doesn't seem to be working on the 2nd image.

Hi Nick,
So I looked in to this more and can see that on both the demo and on your test page, the spacebar controls which gallery image is active (shown in the large box). For some reason though, on your gallery the spacebar doesn't produce a space as expected when typing in the eCard form fields, but it works fine on the demo site.
What I might suggest here is that you speak to Redrex and see why your gallery is functioning differently than the demo. Hopefully they will be able to shed some light on the subject.
Please do keep us posted on what you find out here, in case anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hi Nick,
Just an update here - I've re-checked your site, and I can now type spaces in the eCard window, so it looks like you're all set.
Kind regards,
