Order window | grey frame around images |

Hello

I have recently started to use Fotomoto again, and I am aware of the fact that the order window colors can not be manipulated, which I am unhappy with, but willing to accept.

I do believe that it would be beneficial fo Fotomoto, and the seller if at least the colors of the shopping cart/order window could be changed to match the sites.

The main issue I have now is with the grey frame around the images, which totally destroys the intention, emotion, and composition of the monochrome images I work with.

At least give us the option to remove this.

I want my images to look the way they would in a Gallery, without the frame, even though it is surrounded by black/orange (not conducive to the gallery environment : ))

Why don't you guys move to a neutral color scheme? The images are important here, and not the Fotomoto branding colors, or give us the option to switch the orange to tones of grey or something more appropriate for a Gallery.

Packaging is all important in marketing, and no Art buyer will take a orange/black gallery seriously, and will definitely not want all his art work framed in grey, especially not monochrome photography....

Have a look at Saatchi, and you will find a much more appropriate design for displaying/exhibiting Art.....

Anyway, great platform in all other respects.

    Hi Richard,

    Welcome back!

We appreciate your comments here, and after reading this it sounds like more of a feature request ('Idea post') than a problem - mind if I change this post to an Idea?

    Kind regards,
    Derek

  • Hi Derek

Probably a feature request, thank you for replying.

How do you schedule/release feature requests that are considered viable?

    Hi Richard,

OK, changing this to an 'Idea'.

With regard to scheduling/releasing feature requests, what a neat question that is! First, I'm not the one making the decisions, but I think it's safe to say that we do what most any company does - we weigh the needs of our users along with the strategic goals of the company (to keep the doors open), then (constantly) re-prioritize the to-do list, and when the highest priorities are identified they get assigned to the available team members who develop, test and release.

On a personal note, I'll say that I've worked for a number of .coms, and this one above all others takes its users very seriously and if you don't get what you're asking for, it's often because something better around the corner =) I have lots of faith in the management here.

    Kind regards,
    Derek
