Panoramic Toolbar issue

Greetings... installed the toolbar on my site to do some testing, so far, not too bad. I have found some issues though.

I added "div id=FotomotoToolbar..." so that I can control the location of the buy links. However, for images that are below the minimum size, the toolbar still shows up. When someone clicks on a buy link, a blank Fotomoto window shows up.

See this example: http://photos.3scape.net/pic/6051

This is a problem for panoramic images because the height of the image is less than my usual image size. I can lower the minimum in my settings, but that risks adding the toolbar to small images that I don't want to make available. Thoughts?

Also - it appears I have to set pricing manually for panoramic images, because adding pricing to the flexible sizes area sets the same price for images, regardless of the aspect ratio. Any way to have the system ask for standard size pricing, and calculate up/down based on the actual size of the print?

Thanks!

  • I'm sorry, we somehow missed this post. I've asked my colleague to take a look.

About your second question, we either go with standard sizes, or flexible printing. We are restructuring our pricing model, and I hope to offer a unified solution for this in our next version.

  • Hi Adam,

For the toolbar, the "div id=FotomotoToolbar" is for what we called "Fixed Toolbar" mode, which means the toolbar always appear with all buttons. This mode is used when you want to have one toolbar on the page for multiple photos.

If you want to use div for positioning the toolbar for an image, you can do it this way:

    - give the image an id, like id=mainImage
    - change the id of the div to "div id=FotomotoToolbar_mainImage"

Currently, for now, we are determining the photos for toolbar based on size. We will add more support for selecting photos by CSS class or by ID in the near feature.

    Thanks,
    - Phuc
