Pricing Postage if self fulfilling orders

The only drawback to using Fotomoto is the price of shipping which makes selling prints here in UK / europe a nonstarter for my purposes.
If however, I self-fulfill the orders do I simply reduce the print percentage in the dashboard to display correctly to cover my cost of shipping? I presume fotomoto will not charge anything for postage as I'm handling printing.

    Hi Simon,

    Thank you for your email.

Firstly on Fotomoto-fulfilled orders, we now ship them directly from California (instead of from Germany) and have discounted the shipping so that it should cost the same as if it were being shipped to the UK from Germany.

Next, shipping is always be charged to the customer in the same way, regardless of how you choose to fulfill the order. It works like this: we charge shipping to every customer based on what's in our shipping rate table, and we pass that money on to you. Then if you self-fulfill you'll have the funds, and if you choose to have us fulfill we charge you back for it.

With that said, the answer to your question is that you can reduce the shipping charged to your customers by a straight percentage as explained at http://support.fotomoto.com/customer/.... So, you could charge whatever you're comfortable charging for shipping and decide to fulfill the order however you like.

I hope that helps and kind regards,
    Derek
