I’m frustrated

Self Fullfilment query

I recently left fotomoto when it went offline but am now looking to re-enable it due to the good checkout service it provided, however will be printing and fulfilling all orders from now on under my new business plan.

I appreciate that after many years of requests you now allow orders to be self-fulfilled but there is 1 question still outstanding that i can not find the answer to, does the "Fotomoto Cost" (of $30 for a 8"x12" fine art for example) still apply to these and if so, why?

Also is there a way to offer custom paper and item descriptions? "Premium, fine art etc" seems a little restrictive.

    Thanks for your email and welcome back! We're glad to be here, and happy to be under the ownership of Bay Photo.

    Several things have changed since you left, so please just make sure you read up on how payments work, as that's the main difference:

    Now to answer your question, you can still set your prices however you like, and they can be set below Fotomoto cost, but please be advised that you'd be responsible for that cost should you choose to have us fulfill the order.

    As for custom descriptions, unfortunately not yet - even if you fulfill your own products, you'd have to basically match what we offer at this time.       Yes indeed - a lot has gone on over the last few years, and it is good indeed that I still have my job - have always had a passion for the company and product, and with Bay Photo behind us now we're starting a productive new chapter.
