I think selling photo set would be great for photographers that specialize in an area like weddings or other special occasions. My client is a wedding photographer and I think this site is a great place to purchase photos but unfortunately clients can't purchase their photos in sets. So I think that would be ideal for a specialty photographer.

This would be great so that I can say 10 photos are included in this set. and they are able to then select the 10 they want in that size.
I'm in the process of wondering where to seriously go for print orders. zenfolio just finally added packages. I wish they had a way to integrate with the website like Fotomoto, and I wish fotomoto had packages. so hard to try and send people to different places. no where can provide a consistent experience.

This is a pretty old post, stemming back from the days when our coupons were less-feature-rich.
Now you might be able to do something comparable by offering a discount coupon on 'premium print orders over $X' - you could offer the coupon promo code on a page where you show your 'folio' images.
The only real difference from a 'set' here is that it wouldn't be a 1-click order to add multiple photos to the cart (they'd have to add each image individually), but you could still create a comparable promotion to encourage larger orders.
I hope that helps you here, but if this doesn't address what you're after, just leave us a note here.
Actually this would be a great feature for anyone selling their photos as a 'limited edition' bundle to increase sales. (perhaps combined with an option for self fulfillment?) I have seen other photographers sell limited edition (signed) sets at a lower price than selling the equivalent in single photos to increase sales and further their brand exposure to the public. When selling artwork, not everyone can afford a 20x30 piece of wall art... sometimes selling a bundle of custom 8x10's goes a lot further in the long run.
