I’m pulling my hair out!

Webs.com and Weebly.com issues...

how do i set up Fotomoto on Webs.com and/or Weebly.com? i've followed the instructions for both, but the Fotomoto order bar isn't showing up on either. these are hardly my first attempts, too. i've gone through several other photo and blog sites. i'm incredibly frustrated at this point. please help me!

    sorry for the delay...

    for Webs.com it's http://lifelites.webs.com/

    for Weebly.com it's http://lifelites.weebly.com/

i really prefer the Web.com site. i think it looks better. however, at this point, i'll take any site that allows me to use Fotomoto. so far the list of sites that don't work are really piling up...

    thank you for your help!

    • Kristen,

You have registered life-lites.com with Fotomoto and not the blogs you mentioned above.
Also, I can't find the script on your webs.com account. You need to add the script to your galleries.

I added both to your account and now your weebly account works fine now.
After you add the script to webs.com, it should work too.

Let me know if you still need help

okay, i'm confused. lite-lites.com is my Wix.com site's domain ~ my primary website. i thought you were asking about the Webs.com and Weebly.com sites, which won't have their own domain, but will continue (whichever one wins out...) under the parent site's domain.

regardless, thank you for your help. it looks like i may have figured out how and where to put the code on Webs.com (my preferred of the two sites as i think it looks better...). btw, the coding only seems to work when placed in the sidebar html edit path, not the photo gallery html edit path. it's there for both, but only shows as the direct message links to Fotomoto on the gallery page...

so, i'm sitting here now, finding it difficult to type with my fingers crossed, hoping, hoping, hoping that we've finally gotten this all worked out and i can send a WOOHOO! message to all the folks who've been asking for greeting and ecards! i've got more questions, but i'm sure i'll find all the deets out on this support page...

thank you so very, very, very much!!! now, off to make us all a bit of money, eh? ;D

  • I’m grateful!
i don't want to have a ton of sites. the only reason i've gone from site to site is because i've been desperately searching for one that works. i signed up with Fotomoto not realizing my actual website wouldn't work with it as it's a java site. so, i'm doing a work around. my site links now to the webs.com site for card ordering purposes only. the other sites (many, many, many sites, btw...) were desperate efforts to find a site that would work with Fotomoto. Ahmed might be able to fill you in...

regardless, this will work okay, i think. my life-lites.com site linking to lifelites.webs.com and back. just the two, and the webs.com site is the only one to link to Fotomoto.

    thank you for your help...
