Dear Fotomoto Community,
We sincerely apologize for recent issues you might have experienced with our service, and we want to assure you that we are working night and day to restore Fotomoto to fully-operational status. We'll keep you posted on our progress in this thread.
We are very excited to announce that we are under new management and undergoing that transition at full-speed. We are partnering with Bay Photo - a California-based pro lab who has been providing photographers with the highest quality printing and customer service for nearly 40 years. This is great news to be sure!
For now Fotomoto Support is back and ready to help! In the coming weeks we will do our best to answer all of your reported issues and requests for support in the order they were received. This will take some time; your patience while we turn the lights back on is greatly appreciated.
More details about the transition are coming soon, so stay tuned and thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards,
Derek and the Fotomoto+Bay Photo team

We cannot determine the pricing for this image at this time. Please try again later.
please let us know when the site is believed to be completely up and running normally again. thanks! -

Derek,
First off, THANK GOD YOUR BACK! Many people were wondering and many upset at the treatment livebooks gave you. I am glad to see you were able to partner with someone and start again. When will you be ready to start processing orders, and will there be any other changes coming down the line? -

I've been following a blog about this entire ordeal and while I'm not a huge user of this service for my art site, I do love the features of a direct purchase from my site through Fotomoto.
So thankful to hear the news and look very forward to everyone being back in the groove. -

Your complete fall off the face of the internet leaves an extremely large lack of confidence in continuing to use Fotomoto. I was extremely disappointed to not have heard anything directly from your when service was halted. Instead it was days later when I see reports on various websites that my favorite photo fulfillment service seemed to have died for good and left me hanging.
Even now that you're back, to not see an email or some form of direct communication from Fotomoto to your users explaining what's happened. Let's just say it's not really helping. I sincerely hope that you can promptly provide such a connection to your users. I've just been using fotomoto to make some money on a hobby site of mine. I can only imaging how upset people who were *really* using fotomoto for business must be.-
Pyrodogg, I completely understand your concern here, and again we apologize for the disappearance! I'm not at liberty to provide specifics on exactly what happened, but I'll see what more information we can post in the coming weeks.
Once all services are restored, registered Fotomoto users should expect to receive an email with a bit more information.
Regardless, we're glad to be back, and we hope that going forward you'll find Fotomoto to be a great way to sell your images.
Kind regards,
Derek -

Hi all,
Thank you again for all the warm receptions, and I'm happy to be back myself =)
If you're a registered Fotomoto user, you should have gotten an email this morning from the President of Bay Photo, letting you know that all systems are back up and operational! it's now safe to re-enable Fotomoto on your website.
If you have a question for our support team, please understand that we're currently responding to a large number of aging support emails and questions, so our response time may be longer than expected for the next several days. We are handling order questions as a priority, then responding to all other support requests in the order they were received. Your patience during this period is appreciated.
We're very excited to have Fotomoto back up and running, and on behalf of Bay Photo and Fotomoto, we look forward to helping you sell your image products again =)
Kind regards,
Derek-
FYI, I didn't notice the mentioned email. Turns up it wound up in my Gmail Spam Folder.

If you're a registered Fotomoto user, you should have gotten an email this morning from the President of Bay Photo,
the message landed in my spam box. i'm lucky i was following this thread and was made aware of it, otherwise i would never have seen it!
i think you should also put this email somewhere on-line and display a prominent banner on the fotomoto website alerting people about it.-
We should be posting it or something similar soon...probably in the Blog. Thanks for the input!

Hi, as an interested new user, I love everything I've read about fotomoto until I got to this page...needless to say i thought oh! This looked SO good But the enthusiasm of your customers and your polite responses to their well deserved expressions of aggravation are keeping me interested and I will register to stay posted. By the way, I found my way to you via Crevado Portfolios via twitter.
Good luck with all your updating.
Best,
Maggie Vlazny-
Well thank you Maggie - we appreciate the kind words!
Just to follow up with the latest info here, all systems are back up and running. Please note that we have a large queue of images that are still "processing" as mentioned here, otherwise all the lights are on again and orders are flowing nicely through the system =)
Thanks again and kind regards,
