"Could not extract a stage height" - when gallery on non-active tab

Hi,

Here's something I hit recently at work. I get the "Could not extract a stage height from the CSS" when I have a gallery on a non-active tab.

Here's a jsfiddle exampe with the gallery on the 3rd tab: http://jsfiddle.net/russau/Mbz9J/. Works fine when everything is on the 1st tab: http://jsfiddle.net/russau/hL5pN/

I fixed my particular problem by moving the "$('#gallery').galleria" out of document ready, and into the tab activate code. Could be a timing thing as I've actually seen it work a few times on the 3rd tab.

Cheers all,
Russ

i have similar issues with Galleria, the gallery does not load in IE7 and IE8 and i see this same error on my page. I'm using Galleria v1.2.6 (i think that is the latest version?) and i'm using the Class theme.

I've tested it in IE9, Firefox, and Chrome and all of those browsers work fine.

Is there something special i have to do to use this plugin in IE7/8?

Exactly same error here. Using Galleria and putting it into a non-active jQuery UI tab results in "Could not extract a stage height from the CSS" exception.

The answere is to set the height of the #gallery element in the css
