Google Drive Security Needs More Clarity

I would like to use Gantter for Google Drive, but I don't want to give Gantter full access to my google drive. How Can I limit its access to just one folder or specific Gantter files. Other people have asked this question, but I don't feel that your answers have given me any confidence that Gantter cannot browse my files on google drive. The warning from Google reads: "Upload, download, update, and delete files in your Google Drive

Create, access, update, and delete native Google documents in your Google Drive

Manage files and documents in your Google Drive (e.g., search, organize, and modify permissions and other metadata, such as title)" Also: "View metadata (e.g., title, description, and folders) for files in your Google Drive"
