Yes, I's needed for offline working

Just make the webapp work on iPad. I don't think a native app is needed.

An app that would allow someone out in the field to enter actual start and actual finish dates would be fantastic!
-
you could doit using "base lines" and you could compare planned vs real

Surely the start and finish dates can be achieved by simply exporting the key milestones to a ical file?

Hi - i don't mind if the web version can work on the ipad browsers like safari or chrome. I tried using Gantter on iOS chrome and the experience was less than desired.
Strongly suggest that the team looks into getting Gantter to work on tablets. -
-
I agree...the web based Gantter currently is unusable on the iPad in either Safari or Chrome. I'd love to see this change.

I would definetely find this change very useful, and it would be an enormous aggregate value to this service.
Even if the app is not free, it would make a huge difference and a lot of people would be willing to use it (at least I would pay) -

I second, third, and fourth the suggestion, and I would say iPad before iPhone as you need the real estate offered on a tablet to be useful. This has been a productive substitute for MS Project, but the lack of an ipad / tablet app is akin to Microsoft never porting either Visio or MS Project to the Mac OS..........
Please give me a Christmas Present! :-) -

I also would like to see it working on my Ipad. Using it with Ipad browser I can ́t scroll..

its futile for me having this app working on my home computer but then not being able to use it out and about on my iPad mini. The whole reason i have the iPad mini is to not lug heavy computer around all day and continue working on things and this is one piece of software I need to access at home and especially out and about, so think about your customers needs and design one for us to use and don't charge us twice as we've already paid to use it.

Yes iPad iPhone version is a valuable addition for Gantter and I would purchase for a moderate cost on App store.
It is too bad Apple crippled the entire phone and tablet software system with iOS instead of just implementing the OSx op system for portable devices with a GUI front end for simplicity. OSx would give app designers some real power in the portable devices similar to the capabilities of Android.

I bought the Gantter VU from Applestore.
This application is ok to update tasks.
Since it does NOT deal with other formats for dates it is useless if you are using Gantter in other languages with different dates notation like Portuguese. -
-
I'd rather allow them to focus on introducing more features than spending time on developing native apps.

I have bought Gantter VU, but when trying to get access the following message prompts: Sorry, an error ocurid while processing your request
-
PD I've tried with iPhone 5

I became so fed up with crippled iPad op system that I am using an Android (Linux) samsung S2 tablet. Much better so far.
I may even purchase a Microsoft Surface which is a real computer with a real operating system.
Too bad Apple does not get the move to mobility requires real computers for many people, esp engineers. For me that means a touch screen full power MacBook Pro.
There is a company which makes one but it is expensive. -
-
The ipad is mostly a consumption device, its limited and not designed for serious computer uses or business users (yes it does email)
a Samsung tablet or a MS surface does the job right, or get an macbook air if your apple centric
as a serious business user who travels and needs electronics devices for workflow on the move, I have never owned a tablet...
There is no one do it all device...
PS loving this app on a 24" monitor next to my spreadsheet on the other monitor -
