Praising eating

Does anyone else struggle to not praise their child when he/she gobbles something up enthusiastically? I've read the BLW book, and I completely agree with her recommendations to not praise the child for eating and to not encourage the child to clean the plate, etc. In fact, it was one of the things that I really liked about this approach to food.
Even though I totally agree with this, I catch myself (and DH and others) praising little E when he devours something. I don't do it all the time, and it's more because I'm so impressed with him and his growing abilities, including the improved hand-eye coordination. Still, I worry that he'll end up having all sorts of weird emotional issues with food because I'm doing this.
Are you at all tempted to do this? How do you stop yourself (or others - I suppose that's another post!) from praising your LO's eating accomplishments?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
