Islamic demographics in Europe from 1900 with projections to at least 2100

It is evident that there is a major demographic/cultural change in the winds with respect to Europe, due to increased Islamic migration to the continent since World War II and a corresponding massive decline in birth rates among traditional European inhabitants during the same time period. It would be interesting to see in a dynamic, visual format the degree of change which has taken place and what is projected for the future. I would suggest a presentation which allows visualizations of changes within individual nations, regions of Europe and Europe as a whole (which would include Russia and other former USSR nations we would classify as European). Other Western nations, such as Australia, might also be considered. Graphics which help display the respective age of traditional vs. Islamic immigrant populations (historic and projected) would be of help. It is expected that statistics on European populations may not necessarily include religious affirmations. Therefore, I would suggest that in such cases religion be inferred through determining the source nation of such immigrants. For example, immigrants from Algeria would be almost exclusively Muslim. No so with immigrants from Korea. I would also urge that all types of immigrant dtata be included, such as: asylum grants, those on educational visas (who have disappeared from view) formal immigrants and data on the number of immigrants who are suspected to have crossed respective borders.

  • I’m thankful
A demographic presentation on this subject, in a manner as what was demonstrated with the video on the status of the U.S. over the centrury, would help in visualize how Europe might exist in the years ahead. Great idea!

A demographic presentation would be an adequate image of the ongoing islamisation process in Europe. It might help people understand what's going on and hopefully to find ways to stop European self-destruction.

First of all it would be very essential to clear different misconceptions on both sides considering the demographic trends. It would be useful to check the projection of demographics with immigration scenarios. But anyway it is needed as there is a lot of different discussions, a lot of different projections, and many people arte interested

  • I’m looking forward with caution.
This is very important material, and to be approached with finesse. The possible implications of the demographic shifts are immense, but one easily falls into the trap of scaremongering - also because dealing with demographic material easily leads to the implicit assumption that our trouble with immigrants has genetic causes.

Also one tends to forget the usefulness of challenging the totalitarian religious ideology that many (not all) Muslims carry with them, and try to live out in the countries they have moved to. Demographic forecasts will be dealing with the situation that arises if we do not challenge this ideology.

Finally, one methological proposal: Look at the names of the children. 'Muhammad' is likely to be a Muslim, while 'Johannes' isn't....

  • I have the pleasure to brief you on our Data Visualization software "Trend Compass".

TC is a new concept in viewing statistics & trends in an animated way by displaying in one chart 5 axis (X, Y, Time, Bubble size & Bubble color) instead of just the traditional X and Y axis. Discover trends hidden in spreadsheets. It could be used in analysis, research, presentation etc. In different business sectors, to name a few we have Deutsche Bank, NBC Universal, RIM, Vanguard Institutional Investor, Ipsos, Princeton University as our clients.
