I’m thankful

three dimensions

Dear mister Rösling and associates,
I do admire your insights and use of graphics and did enjoy your presentations and Ted.com. Also the gapminder-site is great! But I do have a small question: Why don’t you use, for example in the graphic of mortality rate versus GDP per capita (in your TED.talk ‘New Insights on Poverty’) a changing scale of the population-growth as indicator of how big the bubbles appear. If that’s possible you get in fact THREE statistical figures in one graph... That would make your moving graphs even more fascinating, because it would not destroy the clarity of your graphs!
Yours sincerely,
