World population vs. unemployment out to 2050

You are now doing more projections. For example, You have done population vs. child survival out to 2050. Have you considered doing world population vs. unemployment figures in the past & projected out to 2050 by country?

While population and mortality changes very slowly, and is more predictable, unemployment would be nearly impossible to project beyond some few months...

  • Thanks for your reply Ola. Yes I agree that unemployment would be too difficult to project. I was looking for a way to show that unemployment in the United States was not going to be reduced any time soon, with a shrinking manufacturing sector, a smaller number of science and math graduates, and a large emphasis on robotics. I'm 80 years old and my hobbies include writing about the cosmos, consciousness and trying to come up with a way of projecting the world's unsustainable issues that the general public can grasp quickly. I have a blog and I write to our grandchildren on these subjects. I have been following Hans Rosling for a few years now and I believe his motion graphs solve the problem. Keep up the great work.
