Provide URL link/copy functionality in attributes.

The attribute window is ill served by a lack of url link support. In fact it is quite difficult to copy information from the window. In Internet Explorer (8.0.6001.18702) attempting to copy will crash the tab. Same situation with Firefox (3.5.2). What is the point of displaying data if people cant use it in the most basic ways?

Good points - so you imagine a "Copy to Clipboard" option for the table of data?

Definitely think that you should be able to highlight and -C (or -C) any individual text fields.

I think copy to clip would be a basic function to provide. Maybe someday html will be availalble.

You can select an attribute from the info window, right click to copy it to the clipboard...

If you click on the 'Copy...' link from above sample, you'd get this: hazard : Flooding - Landslide - Winter Weather
Or, did you want to copy all the attributes for the selected feature?

plarkin... Can you be abit more specific on the crash you mentioned on IE8 & FF3.5.2? How are you copying it? It'd be great for me to troubleshoot it if you could provide me steps to reproduce it...

Thanks...

Selecting the url field from this feature: (see screenshot featureselect.jpg)
from this overlay: http://finder.geocommons.com/overlays...
from this map: http://maker.geocommons.com/maps/10955

As you can see from the screenshot the field is not selected after a right click. This might be part of the problem. After hitting 'Copy' IE will Recover the tab. (see screenshot restore.jpg)

After 4 attempts to copy IE will not recover the tab. (see screenshot restorefail.jpg)

(restore.jpg isnt showing up for whatever reason)
