We have a private community and are using FastPass. Even with FastPass, when a user that hasn't used GS before clicks the Feedback widget, they get that awful "private community" text with no links or other info.

I'm wondering two things:
1) why doesn't it simply show the user's name and email (passed in by the FastPass API) and ask the user to confirm?

2) I know we can use the API before hand to check if the user already exists and direct them to the GS site to register if not. But we'd like to spare the user that since they already logged into our site and we're able to do FastPass integration for SSO. Is there any API we can use to do the registration for them behind the scenes, so that all user see the Feedback widget and use it without any hassle?

Thanks!

Hi Scott,

I just wanted to provide an update here. Our new Engage widgets work with private communities, so long as FastPass is enabled. The setup process is pretty seamless, so long as you have FastPass implemented correctly, but if you have any questions about how to set up Engage widgets with a private community I'd recommend reaching out to your CSM. :) Thanks!
