Is there a way to stop a post based on certain words being posted and display a message to the user requesting that they take that conversation to a different forum, etc?

The only thing that will stop a person from posting specific words are words that contain profanity, then they would need to edit the topic and or content.
Employees or moderators on that community can merge a topic if related or you can move it to a specific community if its not meant for yours.
Its a good idea but would be complicated.
For instance: If a person posts here with relevance to facebook integration on their account it might mistakenly be directed to the facebook support site which would be a disaster because it wont be seen here.
I hope I have helped answer your question and if not please respond and an Employee can help you.

To clarify Bob's point - the profanity filter is only offered at the Enterprise level.

Cullen, could you clarify for me why you would need this kind of feature, and how it would work? I'm not sure I understand your question.

I don't think the why is important, but the way it would work is simply:
1. User enters "hippopotamus"
2. System says "Please post all comments on zoo animals here http:/wherever.com"

I see what you're saying. While we do have a profanity filter for Enterprise level clients, we don't have a feature that allows you to customize the sort of message someone sees when they enter a word what we call the "black list". I've switched this over to an idea - I'd be interested to get a sense of how other folks could see something like this working.

I would like to change the title to "Blocking or Redirecting a Post based on certain words"

I need help setting up block on key words. Is this something I can do myself in the admin panel?

Hey Nick. Thanks for your question. The ability to block posts based on key words isn't a feature of the Get Satisfaction platform.
