I can go to the thread they are in, but it will only give me a partial view, if I search for it, or put me at the bottom of a thread.

Hi Kris!

Are you unable to see your posts in a Get Satisfaction community? You should be able to see everything from your main dashboard, located here: https://getsatisfaction.com/people/kr...

Are you unable to see posts from that view, or is there a different view that you're looking at? If there's a different view, can you please post the URL so I can take a look? Thank you!

Thanks Caty. I am only active on one Getsatisfaction board. It shows my posts in my dashboard, in partial form.. If I click the link to see it, it takes me to the bottom of the thread, not my posts. I have not been able to see any of my posts directly, and with the 15 post page limit, decent conversations are now obscured, with no way to find out if someone actually responded.

Ah, I see what you mean. Unfortunately, what you're describing is the expected behavior for the dashboard. It shows the topics that you've either: created, followed, replied or agreed with (clicked the +1 button). I'm really sorry that I wasn't clearer about that in my earlier comment. You are correct that it does not take you to your actual reply/ comment within the topic. I don't believe it was ever designed to do that, though it would be really handy.

The 15 replies limit is definitely a limitation within our system that we're working on resolving. Basically once a topic hits 250 replies, it automatically truncates to show the most recent 15. The data isn't lost... it's just that our application only displays the most recent 15 topics due to a back-end limitation. I'm really not too clear on the technical details, but it has something to do with the server load and the architecture of the site. It's definitely a major issue that we're working on fixing, but it's not an easy fix.

All that said, I'm really not sure how to get back to your exact comments & replies within topics without scrolling through, and I sincerely apologize! I'm going to ask a few people to see if there's any work arounds. Our new widgets will be released on May 30 and, if the Americans Elect community chooses to implement them on their site, then that will help alleviate the most recent 15 issue but it won't help with linking you to the direct post.

Hi Kris,

Just wanted to give you an update that we fixed the bug that would truncate any topic with more than 250 replies down to 15 replies. Now when you visit a page with over 200 replies, you can use the pagination feature at the bottom to browse through pages. Please let me know if you have any questions!
