How does Get Satisfaction flag premium users inquiries?

My company (MapMyFitness) is a subscription based company that has tiers of members (free, bronze, silver, gold). As part of the premium service we offer a faster turn around time on CSR inquiries. What is the best way to flag these sorts of inquiries using Get Satisfaction?

Hi MMF Support, this is actually a feature that we're currently planning on offering to our Integrate and Enterprise clients. The idea is that you would indicate (via our API) a priority associated with each user and then the management view would sort new topics/replies by user priority. That way, you would be able to respond to high priority users faster.

I'm changing your question into an idea and marking it as planned. Let me know if you have any other suggestions to improve on this!

Geysa,

Thanks for the update! I realize this sort of update is a large load for the dev team on your end, so I won't pester you for an ETA, instead I'd ask if there's a way to perhaps tag (literally by using your tagging system) inquiries that come in from a different entrance point (slightly different URL for instance)?

Alternately, perhaps there's a way for users (I realize this is a lot of faith and trust in a user) to flag themselves as premium (a checkbox perhaps)?

I really like the software, I'm just looking to come up with a work around using the already present feature set to help sell the product to those who get to make the decisions :)

Again, thank you so much for the help!

Interesting idea. We do offer a "private tag" feature that perhaps could help you in the meantime. It's only available at our Integrate and Enterprise plans, though. I'm going to ask one of our representatives to give you call so they can explain how it works and see if they would work for you before you choose to upgrade.

Hi Geysa,
Has this feature been released? I am also interested in implementing a flagging system for our VIP users. If it has not been released yet, do you have any tips for a work around solution based on the current Get Sat functionality?

Thanks,
Cait

Yes, Private Tags or User Defined Codes are available for communities on the Integrate or Enterprise plans.

For Private Tags, see here:

Another option for tagging customers with this kind of data is available if you use our FastPass integration. You can pass any additional parameters through FastPass that store user data in the Get Satisfaction database.
