Hi GetSatisfaction, great product!

Can you please let me know how I must configure the widget options to have multiple tags attached to the question/problem the user submits?

Our use case is that the tags are created dynamically based on the user's current location in our site. My attempts revolved around setting widget_options.tag = "stuff, morestuff", with "stuff" and "morestuff" being two different tags.

Thanks

Hi andrei. I'm going to check and confirm, but I don't believe this is currently possible with our widgets. Lemme make sure, however, and I'll get back to you.

The widgets don't allow more than one tag. I will let the product team know you would like to be able to add more than one.

Thanks for the question and sorry it took us so long to get back on this.

Hi,
we could really use multiple tags in widgets list as well. E.g. when setting up a faq with multiple widgets, we have many topics tagged with "faq" and "settings" it could be great to filter the list after all topics with these to tags. And then a widget list with "faq" and "(other tag)".
Allowing multiple tagging shouldn't be that difficult, so you got my vote.

Jenn, maybe change this into an idea so people can vote for it.

Thanks

Hi Ture!

I made this into an idea and I will also do another technical dive to see what can be done.

Thanks,
Jenn

Right now the the Status is set to Implemented, maybe you should set it to Under Consideration or Planned :)

Official Response
Hi Ture and Andrei,

This issue has been resolved with our new Engage widget launch. The new widgets will be fully available to everyone on paid plans starting May 30th. On the enterprise plan, it will be possible to restrict topics shown in the widget by multiple private tags. Please take a look at the full topic here:

Thanks!
Jenn

Thanks for the update Jenn.
The new Engage widgets just got available on our Connect Plan and I have just tested it, but as I see it the Tags have been completely removed now - I cannot specify a single tag for the widget!

So has the tags been removed or am I missing something?

Thanks, Ture
