New Feature: More Topic Status Options for Questions

Last week, we added in a feature for more topic status options on Questions in specific. This is something that has long been requested by our customers as a way to help better communicate with your customers and for internal reporting.

Having just "Answered" or "Doesn't Need An Answer" simply wasn't enough in a lot of cases. Especially for things that may take some time to process or in communities with a short initial SLA time.



Now, "Acknowledged" and "In Progress" have also been added as topic status options. You are also able to filter by them in Manage Workspace to create custom filters around these status options for Questions.



The new topic options have been added to the Share Your Expertise content filter as well as Advanced Search too, making them helpful tools for your Champions and community members to leverage as well.

The only thing I see about these that is a little different is that Questions "In Progress" or "Acknowledged" show up as "active" in CHA. I don't really care about it since the options are at least there - that's what I cared about :)

You can run filters on them in Manage too. That's what I have been doing and it's helped a lot to be able to report on these things.
