Receiving 3 Good Point stars turns my response into an official one instead of a promoted one

I've been assigned as a moderator in the Mojang community.
When my posts receives 3 Good Point stars, my post gets listed at the top of the thread as an official response, and not a promoted response.

This has lead to some confusion in the threads I have posted in.

Can you post an example?
I just looked at the community and you look to be listed as an employee not a champ moderator.

I have not clicked the official response button, however my reply has been set as one.

Michael, you're showing up as a legitimate employee of the Mojang community, that's why your replies are promoted to Official. If you're not an employee of Mojang, you should ask one of their admins to change your privileges.
So this is the intended result of users giving me a star on my replies?
A little odd and misleading, but alright.

Thank you.

Hey Michael,
As Geysa replied you are looked at as an official.
If you still want to be able to moderate you can ask to be made a Champ with moderator privileges instead like myself.
You still have access to management view and are able to do all the things like moderate posts ie archive, delete, move etc.

I see Michael's point here, though. Regardless of whether he's an official Employee or not, if one of his replies is voted up by the community, then shouldn't it show up as a community promoted response and not an "Official Response"? It seems like "Official Response" promotion should only happen when an Employee intentionally marks an Employee reply as "Official".

Hello all!

We did a deployment Friday night that addressed this issue. Now, Official Responses should only be replies that are specifically marked that way.

Thanks all for the feedback on this!

Jenn
