We're using the search/list widget on our site. What we'd like to have happen is that when a user clicks on 'Continue' button a new browser tab is open for the results. Is there a script option for this? How else might we accomplish this?

Hi CCC Help!

I was trying to find the widget on your site. Do you mind sharing the link? I was looking at:
http://www.cccco.edu/ContactUs/tabid/...

There are two parts to my answer. You can definitely build a search / list widget experience that opens the topic in a new tab. But it might require a bit of customization.

We are also looking at a new version that keeps the entire experience in line, which means never being prompted to leave the page at all. Would this solve your problem?

Thanks!
Jenn

The application is not yet public but I can send you the URL via email if you contact me via email. Also, I see that what they really want that when the user clicks on a topic that is returned by the search that either that return is inline or in a new tab.

Thanks CCC!

If you can wait a month, we will be able to do the entire flow inline and it will be quite nice looking. We could also look into a more custom solution, but what I would be able to give you is a generic PHP-based solution and it would require styling and integration work.

What do you think?

It sounds like your new version may do it - and much more easily. We'll wait to see. Thanks for the info.
