We have two widgets for listing company updates and recent topics on our company website. We need to do some very basic styling of the widgets but we don't have an enterprise account.

I saw that you can do some javascript to get the widget to use a custom stylesheet, but my engineers tells me this ONLY works with the feedback widget.

Is there a way to styling a widget of company updates or recent topics without an enterprise account? Without this styling, the widgets cannot really be used by us.

Unfortunately, our Engage Widgets do not allow for custom CSS styling at all at this time. The functionality is on the longer term roadmap, but I don't have an estimated release date for when it might come out or what plan levels it will be available to.

Our Legacy Widgets do allow for custom CSS styling. The widgets included in the Legacy Widget product are: Feedback Tab, Feedback Page, Search and Topic List. You can customize the Legacy Topic List widget by topic type (e.g.: company updates only) and by new, unanswered or active topics. Would that work for you? You can access Legacy Widgets in the admin section of your community... they're nested beneath the Engage Widgets (click the arrow to expand):

We are trying the legacy widgets option. Thanks for your quick reply!

Caty, as our team is rolling out a massive new Cazoomi website this month, we noticed the Get Satisfaction Engage Widgets still are not able to be customized with CSS.

Our plan was to have each of the 200+ pages with one each per SyncApps product. Doable this year as an enhancement to the Get Satisfaction Engage Widgets?

Hey Clint,

Unfortunately we do not have any major work scheduled for Engage Widgets for the remainder of 2013. All of our engineering resources are focused on strengthening the new platform, and the new applications. To give you some insight - we're continuing to enhance Manage Workspace, bringing the new Community application to GA, adding private conversations, and work on access controlled categories. That doesn't leave us much time for any other major work, I'm afraid.

Would it be possible for you to build your own custom widgets leveraging data from our API? We've had several customers do that in the past when they want/ need pixel perfect widgets.

Sorry!
