Changed reply in topic of Any way to avoid a window opening when Ghostery blocks a page? I'd prefer not closing a half dozen windows when exiting. by Blender to Hello Gerry! Ghostery actually shouldn't be blocking pages or creating any pop-ups at all other than the purple box in the bottom right corner of the screen! Can you please provide me a screenshot of the pop-up you are receiving and let me know what action you are taking when you see the pop-up?.

Changed reply in topic of Unlisted trackers by Blender to Hello Wits End! To see the trackers that are unblocked on your settings, open up the Ghostery settings and scroll to the bottom of the page that pops up. There you will see all of the trackers in our database. Next to the word "Show", select "Unbocked" from the drop down menu. This will reveal any trackers which you have unblocked currently! Please let me know if you have any questions and have a great day!.

Changed reply in topic of Newcomer by Bobcat to Hi Tilda, So Ghostery is a browser extension that shows you all the companies that are tracking you when you visit a website. What we do is that we let you learn more about those companies and the kinds of data they collect, and block them from collecting data. You can expect Ghostery to sometimes block certain advertisements from loading on social media sites, that's not to say we block all ads though. We just block tracking scripts that can stop an ad from loading, therefore creating a more faster loadtime for the website itself. (faster browsing experience) I hope this information helps :)! Best, Bobcat.
