The drop-down "findings" list of tracker elements from the Ghostery icon appears normally on the first few websites, so I can use the slider to block those I want to block. Then that drop-down box ceases to appear, until I restart the browser.
I would like to have that drop-down box block-or-not option work on every single site, not just the first few. I am using Firefox 35.0.1.

"Findings" drop-down list fails to appear consistently in Firefox 35.0.1

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Well that is not an intended feature for it not to work on every page. Which version of Ghostery are you using? Does it happen on specific sites? or types of sites? Can you send me a URL where it doesn't work or a screenshot?
Any other extensions active? -

Pete:
The icon still registers the number of trackers when a new page is loaded. The dropdown menu to block trackers worked well on numerous sites in the last hour or so, but just went gray or fails to descend at all when accessing:
http://www.earth-policy.org/
http://www.enn.com/
http://www.eea.europa.eu/
And all others...
So does the little Trackers Found balloon that appears for each page.
And Ghostery has disappeared from the “Tools” menu of Firefox, from where I usually can access it. So I cannot tell the Ghostery version, but I did set it on automatic updates.
I have many Firefox add-ons/extensions, but none were installed recently, since several months ago. This gray dropdown menu issue began only about 5 or 6 days ago.
Thanks,
Wayne

Thanks for that info.. .Is your blocking library up to date? Thats the only update we have done in the past month and a half... Not sure why it would have just started.
