Not really liking the new layout. Feels bloated with the large icons and such. Was wondering if possible when you do finalize this version, have the option for users to keep the old format which is more simple/organized?
-You did away with clean simple text and replaced it with bulky icons.
-You did away with the manual update from simple click on the icon. Now to manually update I have do it through options since auto update doesn't always update to new definitions release but I think on a set schedule.
-I'm surprised no one else brought this other minor issue up but for 'block new elements by default', it should only block the ones that are currently in use (ticked). Not ones that are not in use. For instance I have some ticked in 3pes but none in cookies yet it'll tick the cookies anyway when there are new elements. Basically it'll start blocking something I never intended or wanted to block in that particular category.
You should change it so that it'll only tick the new elements for the subcategories that are in use being it within 3pes/cookies etc.

Hi Rawr,
Thanks for the feedback!
- There will be an option to switch back to the old findings menu. However, the menu will go away eventually.
- We are going to tweak/increase the tracker library auto-update frequency. Basically, there shouldn't be a reason for users to be clicking to update the trackers regularly when auto-update is enabled.
- Block-by-default: Do you mean that items under the cookies tab are being blocked as well? Agreed, this is suboptimal. Could you please make a separate thread for this?
The new findings popup/panel is scheduled for several rounds of improvement. We'd love to get more feedback on how to make it better. -

Thanks for the update. As long as there isn't really a need to manually update to get the latest definitions then that is good.
-A suggestion, you could also add an option on how often it could check for updates being it daily, weekly etc. for more flexibility upon the users choice.
I'll make a new thread for the block new elements by default.
Update: 2.8.1 out and looking great. Great to see the developers implement new ideas and helping ease the community into the newer gui. I'm starting to get used to the newer one now but thankful that the temp old version is still avail for a bit as we transition into the new one slowly. -
