I noticed that the latest version is blocking images on some web sites that's required to enter some sweepstakes. For example, the button (image) at the top of the following web site to enter the sweepstakes and other images on the same page:

I'm also getting the same thing with many other web sites. I downgraded to version 2.8.0.2 with the same settings and everything works perfectly. What changed in version 2.8.2? I tried with both the new menu and classic menu in 2.8.2 with the same results.

Two days ago, webpages displayed fine. I haven't changed anything, but now webpages are not showing pictures (meme's and the like) Is Ghostery blocking pictures or are webpages refusing to show pictures if I block their ads?
I have tried turning off the blocking of single elements, one at a time to see if it was a single element that was responsible for showing the pics on the page. But not a single element will get the pics to show. Yet when I unblock all elements, the pics show up..Whats going on here?

jojo, this is indeed the same issue, stumbleupon creates a frame when you stumble, and thats what causes Ghostery to nuke content in the frame.

This looks like an unrelated issue. Please unblock Bazaarvoice or whitelist this site to restore functionality. I'm looking it over for a surrogate. -

Hi, i use ghostery, and it cause a little problem for me:
For example:If i recive an e-mail from youtube if someone upload a ideo, the Ghostery blocs the picture after the download and after any bet. so i cant see the picture after 0.1-0.5 sec.
It is very annoying, so how can i solve this problem?

The now version of ghostery seems to break the well-known German e-mail provider GMX. When Ghostery is active, some vital links of the GMX UI disappear after half a second. When deactivated, the site functions properly. Thanks for fixing.

After updating to latest Ghostery 2.8.2 (FF 15.0.1 / XP SP3 home french) i got a major and crually disaster when i wanted to update a post on my Web Blog ==> http://neophil.canalblog.com/ and specifically when entering the editing mode of it (so in admin place of the blog off course) on an index page of my blog ( http://neophil.canalblog.com/archives... )
All the Web links in the page were removed !!!! and i have now to re create all that page with all the missing links
I suppose the problem may have been the same on any other post off the blog, nut i have to admit i did'nt give a try, you can imagine why ...
I don't have any idea off the origine off this terrific Bug (at least for me), but i'm sure it's due to Ghostery 2.8.2 as i didn't get the problem before and as i don't get the problem after uninstalling it
N.B: my Ghostery settings didn't changed from previous version which are Automatic update, all Webbugs blocked and some cookies
N.B 2: maybe it comes with specificities of the editing mode on the blog gestion part and you may need to contact managers of www.canablog.com if you need to know more details about it

Ghostery 2.8.2 with newest block lists
GMX.net is broken (maybe because of Omniture). All interaction icons/buttons in the mail inbox are missing.
