I did find http://widget.dihitt.com.br/conta_seguindo/ counters on arquivinho.com and www.seven7down.com.

A counter and a banner are on lucrardecasa.com and www.midiainteressante.com.

A counter and the button widget are on www.vamosparardefumar.com.

Do you have any more examples of URLs demonstrating actual usage?
