Hi, I just started using Feedly (since the announcement of google readers eventual demise was made) and am liking it well enough except... it seems to require Facebook's "Connect" and "social plugins" widgets. I find facebook in general to be quite annoying but this is even more annoying. Is there a way around this, like can Ghostery spoof these widgets or something? (ok, maybe not spoof but de-fang or something). Ghostery does a great job of keeping most of this stuff at bay but this time its doing too good a job.
I guess a "sub-question" would be, if there isn't a work around, then can Ghostery allow these widgets only for feedly and continue to block them everywhere else?
Any help/comments would be appreciated!
Cheers,
-Gaiko
A way around Feedly's Facebook connect/social-plugins widgets?

Hi Gaiko,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Yes! If you are using Ghostery 2.9.3 you can use the site selective whitelisting feature.. When you are on feedly.com.. you can choose to allow the 2 facebook trackers on that page, but then continue to block when you browse away..
This video shows you how to use the new panel and whitelisting feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bOWb4...
Hope that helps! -
