I'd like to see the ability to turn off blocking for X amount of time like
"Pause blocking for X minutes"
Or
"Pause blocking until current tab closed"
I often pause blocking when accessing websites that it breaks and forget to turn it back on.

It's quite likely you're using "Pause Blocking" much more than necessary. Wouldn't it be nicer if you didn't have to at all? Perhaps we can help. There's a consolidated topic you can reply to:
https://getsatisfaction.com/ghostery/...
Or, you can Create a new topic. Either way, be sure to provide a sample URL someone else can look at in order to see the problem for themselves. Be sure to mention any non-obvious details (e.g. anything you need to click on or type). Don't post specific account information (such as user names, e-mail addresses, passwords, etc.).
Depending on the situation, we may be able to improve Ghostery's workarounds for certain blocked scripts, or instruct you how to use the site-specific unblocking feature to prevent undesired information sharing with other trackers that have nothing to do with whatever breakage you're experiencing. The best outcome, of course, is if the website maintainers can be persuaded to correct the problem on their end (because it's almost always their fault to begin with). But that's probably never going to happen if you don't tell somebody (and keep on suffering as a result). Don't wait for someone else to step up, when you can be a hero to everyone else who might find themselves in your position some day.
