In Firefox 11.0 the ghostery icon doesn't appear on the add-on bar when
"Show Ghostery in Add-on Bar" is checked on the options page. It appears
OK on the navigation bar. Note: the add-on icon was showing properly when
I first installed ghostery but somewhere along the line it disappeared but
I don't know what action caused it.

Hi Kris,
Do you have the add-on bar checked in view > toolbars > add-ons? In the options page > advanced tab > show in add-ons toolbar.. make sure you click save.
Do you have any other add-ons that might be preventing this action from saving?Comment -
