After updating, why does my bug database amount not match web page amount
On web page says 4xx in database when I update and check my blocking it says 338 blocking?

Hi Dude, thanks for using Ghostery.
I'm assuming you are referring to the number listed in the status bar Ghostery icon under Blocking? If so, the number displayed there is number of trackers SELECTED to be blocked, not the total available number of trackers like the one shown in the bug definition update page (or remote update). To get the number to be the same, you need to open up Ghostery options and reselect all (or select the trackers you want to block manually).
There is an additional "by default" setting in the update process:
- if you are already blocking all trackers in the database, then any new trackers that come through remote update will be automatically set to be blocked.
- if you are not blocking or blocking, but not all trackers are set to be blocked, then any new trackers that come through remote update will NOT be set to be blocked on update.
I hope this explains what happens with Ghostery on update. Let me know if you need further clarification. -
