Anyway I have a question....how does ghostery respond if I click on an image that he is guarding. Will he let me through? Like the first time it makes the toggle blue then the next time allows it? I am not sure cause usually I either switch the toggle or just copy and paste the URL.

  Not sure I'm following your use case. By "Guarding" you mean you see the click -to-play overlay? "Allow once or Allow Always?"
  
  You are better off making your global blocking choices in the options menu, then use the icon menu ("Panel") for page by page modifications.
