Background tabs kill current tab in iOS
When a background tab finishes loading in iOS, it overwrites the current tab. This makes tabbed browsing substantially less useful.

Greetings!
Thanks for using Ghostery!
So to be sure.. if you have 1 tab open and the page is loaded.. then open a new tab, when that new tab finishes loading it overrides the original tab? If not, if you could provide steps to replicate that would be most helpful!
Thanks! -

Yes. With one tab open, open another and type e.g. "nytimes.com" in the URL bar, and press return, then go back to the first tab. nytimes.com will open in the first tab.

Testing a bit more... It doesn't seem to overwrite the first tab's history, i.e. a back-and-forward goes to the original page.

Thanks! I'll add this to our test cases for the newest release.
