Backing up and restoring between FF addon and Chrome extension

Why does my Chrome ghostery extension tell me that my firefox backup file is invalid?
Isn't it just a list of trackers and does this mean I'll have to set them again for all pages I visit on Chrome now? FF is my regular browser and I do have an extensive list in my backup file. If I have to enter all these ones manually this extension will disappear from my browser as soon as it was added. With a 1 star rating too!
