Hi
Ghostery 0.9.1 installed on Opera v12 bulid 1060 has stopped displaying blocked bugs when you click on the Ghostery icon (the previous snapshot 1056 works ok)..
More than likely something to do with the changes they have made to extensions in this build.

Blocked bug list is blank when the icon is click on (Opera v12 build 1060 snapshot)

Ghostery for Opera(I'm using OperaNext...Opera 12 pre-Alpha) has got a glitch; when I click on the Ghostery icon in Opera's address bar, the resulting little window that opens is totally blank. Anybody else experience this?

Ghostery For Opera Bug?.-
Hi ergo,
We are going to try to fix it in the next update. This appears to be an Opera bug, however. I suggest reporting it to Opera as well. -

OK, I'll file a report with Opera.

Hello Ghostery employees,
I am using Opera 12's latest build - build 1085 with Ghostery version 0.9.2 and as of yet, the issue isn't fixed. When I go any website and click the Ghostery button, there is just blank white space with the horizontal and vertical scroll bars, something like this-
Thanks in advance. -

Hello. On Opera 12, Ghostery doesnt work right. It doesnt show the bug script sources in the browser popup. Instead, there appears an empty popup. On Opera 11.5x, Ghostery works just fine.
Regards,
Oli

But othersides, it doesnt seem like Ghostery for Opera 12 is not working at all. The social plugins and other stuff are getting blocked. At least, the alert bubble works.

Hello Ghostery developers,
Please take this issue seriously now. Please don't stay quiet and tell us these things-
What causes the issue? An Opera fault or Ghostery is incompatible with Opera 12?
Just answer the above questions so that if it's an Opera fault, then atleast Opera could know that Ghostery is OK, and something is faulty in Opera. -
-
I ́m interested too in what causes this problems... is it Opera or is it Ghostery? But let ́s be fair. Opera 12 is not stable, its an alpha. Let them take their time and fix the problem. If you use the stable Opear 11.5x, then you wont experience this problems.

Hi Swapnil,
"WARNING: This is an Opera 12.00 Alpha build: It is not feature complete and may have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. If you are uncomfortable with this, please use the latest stable Opera instead."
"WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all."
These are the messages you see before downloading Opera Alpha and development builds, respectively. As oli_p_aus_e pointed out, you are using alpha/pre-alpha software.
Something changed in Opera 12 that broke Ghostery's findings popup. I investigated but did not see an obvious solution/workaround.
There was at least one communication from Opera ( http://twitter.com/#!/aleksands/statu... ) that said this will get addressed on Opera's end. Since then, the problem has gotten somewhat better as the findings popup now seems to come up on first click (per page) on Opera 12 on OS X.
There is an Opera forums bug report thread here, which you could add to: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/...
You could also contact Opera via Twitter, which might be the most effective thing to do.
Finally, please note that the Ghostery team has limited resources that are spread between five (Opera, Safari, Firefox, Chrome and IE) versions of Ghostery and various other projects.- view 3 more comments

The issue still exists with Opera 12 build 1116. Looks like I need to PM the Opera employee which said that we are working on the issue with Ghostery.
What's strange is that nobody has reported problems with any other extension I know of than Ghostery. -
-
This is an Opera issue in version 12.00. It is tracked internally as DSK-347078.
Reloading the page and then clicking on the extension button once can be used as a work-around.

Ghostery 0.9.3, out now, fixes the findings popup's height as a workaround for the blank popup issue in Opera 11.60 beta / 12 alpha.
Once popup resizing is fixed in Opera (DSK-347078), Ghostery will revert to variable-height popups. -
-
DSK-347078 [(Script execution stops in popup after it receives resize event): Ghostery pop-out is empty] is now fixed in the latest Opera 11.60 "Tunny" snapshot-
http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/...
You can now return to your previous behavior, Ghostery team. -
-
Please test soon and release Ghostery 0.9.4 for Opera.
I have tested Opera 11.60 build 1169 with Ghostery 0.9.2 and it's working fine. -
