after a newstart of the PC Ghostery 2.4.2.0 no longer shows bubble and blocking all trackers is gone on IE 8. Why?
When I update the "dismiss alert bubble" it does not do it for all the succeeding pages. Why?
blocking went to nirvana and changes not holdingfor further pages on IE8

Is it not blocking when you use multiple tabs? Make sure you have blocking enabled after the restart. There is a known bug with the IE version of Ghostery that causes the settings to not save. -

When I newly open the IE blocking is not active;
When I change the settings they hold.
When I then open a new IE the new settings apply.
But as soon as I open a new Tab - all is gone!
When I then close the Tab the "originally opened IE's" settings are gone, too. But the settings on the previously opened IE's still hold.
When I then open a new IE - no blocking active! So I have to change the settings again. Only then the new settings hold also for another newly opened IE.
Until you fix this it means that I no longer can work with multiple Tabs. A pitty.
Please advice when fixed. Thank you.

Thats the behavior.. We are working on a brand new version of Ghostery for IE. We will update this thread when it is out. Sorry for the inconvenience. In the meantime, we hope you try Ghostery for one of the other 4 browsers we support.
