Some websites will forward me to this web address for a 1 x 1 dot on Twitter. https://twitter.com/i/jot
It's frustrating because those sites become essentially unusable. I've noticed it on Gawker and Deadspin and now on latimes.com. Any ideas why?

I'll suggest www.oculusvr.com as another site to look at, since it seems to cough up more than one of these.
I'm pretty sure this is coming from http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js (which doesn't match anything in Bugs Version 209, and that's probably a mistake).
We've got some reading to do. ;-)

Pete, how to solve this issue?
P.S. With Ghostery on Firefox all work fine for me ;) -

We have a fix for this in the coming release. It will fix the redirect to https://twitter.com/i/jot. If you have any other example you would like us to test before the release, let us know.
