Ghostery has worked well for some time, but (probably) since using Firefox 38 beta I can no longer pause blocking via the icon.
The usual "blocking is paused" dialogue comes up, but reload does not work, and a manual reload brings it back unpaused.
Hope you can get this sorted. Keep up the good work.

We have a beta version where we are using a new API for the icon that firefox released with their newest version.. Can you give it a shot and see if it solves your icon issue?

This beta seems functional. Purple bubble's there. Mixture of blocked/unblocked items as expected. Pausing works. White-listed-per-site works.
UI's far inferior. but I'm sure that'll come.
I'm curious -- what new API is this? I did't see anything in the Firefox beta notes about this... but it probably explains why a couple other add-ins are broken too.- view 1 more comment

Nevermind. The beta install apparently checked the previously-unchecked "Not ready for the new panel? Revert to the old menu temporarily (restart required)" option.
