I installed Ghostery and I could not get to my hotmail. I was using IE so I uninstalled using add/remove plugins.
After a reboot I still cannot get to Hotmail. I checked add remove programs and it does not show up But it does show up in IE still. I haave IE 9, Is there another way to uninstall it or remove Ghostery from IE?

If I expand the double arrow in the toolbar I still see the ghostery ICON. Also there is a folder in the Program files(x86) folder titled GhosteryIEplugin. It contails two DLL's and an executable.

Matt, if you have ran the uninstallation and it failed, please manually delete the GhosteryIEplugin directory. You might need to restart before if allows you to delete it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Matt, registry entries are a lot less important than the directory itself, but do feel free to clean it up if you feel like it. This issue is queued for the next release as well.
